YG Slams Fake Fans of Nipsey Hussle at Album Release Party

The 'Go Loko' rapper tells the crowd that 'there's a lot of fake a** Nipsey Hussle love out there' as he dedicates his song 'My Last Words' to the slain star at an album release party.

AceShowbiz - YG has blasted so-called "fans" of Nipsey Hussle who show fake love to the late rapper following his death. At his album release party at The Novo on Thursday night, May 23 in downtown Los Angeles, the 29-year-old paid tribute to Nipsey while calling out those who belatedly heap praise on the slain rapper only after the tragic shooting.

"It's not a real song, it's my last words, it's from the day when Nipsey Hussle had that beautiful situation at the Staples Center when I got on the mic and I spoke, and I put that as the last track on my album," the "My N***a" hitmaker said of his song "My Last Words" off his new album "4Real 4Real".

"FYI, there's a lot of fake a** Nipsey Hussle love out there you know what I'm saying, it's a lot of fake s**t, and the family ain't f**king with that s**t and n***as need to get slapped," he lashed out at the fake fans.

YG previously said in an interview with Big Boy that the fake Nipsey supporters were "fake, goofy, clowns."

As for him, the Compton native has decided to honor Nipsey with his album cover art which states "In loving memory of Nipsey Hussle" in addition to his song "My Last Words". He has also announced that he's giving Nipsey's children a percentage of every song off the album.

YG has additionally revealed that he had worked on a "special project" with Nipsey before his death. "I got a special project I was working on with Nip right before he passed," he said during an interview with Real 92.3's Bootleg Kev and DJ Hed. "It's like, it's special, we gonna make that happen, his family and everybody want that to happen, that's a priority for me."

He went on explaining why he hasn't got a chance to release the project, "Me and Nip was just in the studio like last September, October, we had started to try to work on the project again and we was trying to put it out by December. But, s**t just ain't happen." He didn't say though when he plans to release his last collaboration with Nipsey.
