DAUGHTRY Tapped for FOX's 'New Year's Eve Live'

Along with David Cook, Scott Weiland and Lynyrd Skynyrd, DAUGHTRY will be performing on-stage on FOX's 'New Year's Eve Live'.

AceShowbiz - %cDAUGHTRY% are confirmed to entertain music lovers on FOX's holiday event called "New Year's Eve Live". The band, fronted by 2006 "American Idol" finalist %cChris Daughtry%, will be performing at the show on Wednesday, December 31 at 11:00 P.M. - 12:30 A.M. ET live; CT/MT/PT tape-delayed.

Joining the rock band to ring in the new year's eve at the upcoming show is 2008 "American Idol" champ %cDavid Cook%. Former %cVelvet Revolver%'s frontman %cScott Weiland% and rock 'n' roll band %cLynyrd Skynyrd% will also be seen at the show's stage, singing some of their hit singles.

Hosted by %cSpike Feresten% of "Talkshow with Spike Feresten" and %cMark Thompson% of "Hole in the Wall", the event will be joined by special correspondent Chrissy Russo of KSWB/FOX 5 San Diego. During the event, he will present a segment for special interviews and a behind-the-scenes look at three of Cirque du Soleil's Las Vegas shows; "Zumanity, The Sensual Side of Cirque du Soleil", "%cThe Beatles% LOVE" and the new "CRISS ANGEL Believe".
